This is a view that reflects the serenity of the moment as I look out from the walkway in front of the Motel in the towship of Haast. The ocean is just out of view behind me. The evening is warm and clear. It is a bit of what I came on this trip for — peace and serenity. I am learning much about myself, some okay, some not. I hope the courage to live is not voided by apprehensions. I have heard it said that courage does not demand there be no fear. I guess the fears add to the excitement of the challenge. For now, this beauty is calming and empowering.
